Barrenjoey Lighthouse walk in Palm Beach

The Barrenjoey Lighthouse walk is a popular hiking trail in Barrenjoey Headland, the northernmost part of Palm Beach in Sydney’s Northern Beaches region.

There are two walking tracks that go all the way up to the Barrenjoey Lighthouse on top of the hill from where you can enjoy stunning ocean views.

Looking across Pittwater to the west, you can spot the West Head Lookout, another beautiful place to visit for the best panoramic views.

Federation Cliff Walk (Or Bondi to Watsons Bay Walk)

Federation Cliff Walk (Watsons Bay to Bondi)

The Federation Cliff Walk is a 5 km walking trail from Watsons Bay to Dover Heights, boasting high sandstone cliffs and amazing panoramic views of the Tasman Sea.

This coastal walk meanders through beautiful parklands and open spaces and includes an exciting timber walkway with viewing platforms that bring you on top of the cliffs.

The Bondi to Watsons Bay walk (or Watsons Bay to Bondi walk) is essentially the same as the Federation Cliff walk, but it goes a little further, to Bondi Beach.

Bondi to Bronte Walk

Bondi to Bronte walk

The Bondi to Bronte walk, including Tamarama and Mackenzies Bay, is one of the most iconic coastal walking trails in Sydney. The panoramic views of the South Pacific Ocean and the coastal cliffs are absolutely breathtaking.

As you walk on top of the sandstone cliffs, between two of Sydney’s most famous beaches, the trail takes you right on top of the ocean.

There are lots of vantage points along the way where you can rest up and soak in the amazing views and, if you’re lucky, you may even spot some whales and dolphins.
